We're in Santiago now (ahead of schedule) having just broken loose of Steak City and we're now off in search of dos 'completos', hotdogs with mayo, ketchup and guacamole. Bring on the turkey Santa..

Just wanted to let you know I'd had a taste of the 'Kiwi' today. One of the Infant classes performed the Hakka for the rest of the school in Assembly this morning and then many of the little ones were trying it out on the playground- very scary! It made you both seem a little closer.

As for the celebration of Guy Fawkes day, it is only celebrated in the U.K. Though at times folks around here have bonfires and we will often hear the sounds of fire crackers going off. Reason? Just because.

All good in cardiff, managed to avoid any trick or treatin' youths and escaped to the theatre to see Slava's Snow Show. If anyone gets chance to see it you definately should - its a real visual and aural spectacle!!

Happy Halloween!!
Just answered the door to the umpteenth Trick or Treaters- I wouldn't mind but I don't think any of them live on our Drive! Ked wants to lock the door and switch out all the lights (as usual!) I was hoping there would be some chocs left over for me. Do they celebrate Halloween in NZ? You seem to be having an action packed time down there - the photos are great. It can't be long till Xmas now 'cos we've just seen the first Xmas ad on TV!
