Yesterday I received the final tour information from Rick Steves (Europe Through The Back Door), including detailed information on all of our hotels, and a list of tour participants. It's fun to check out each hotel in the guidebook. They look very attractive, well-located, and with lots of local character. It seems they all will have wireless internet, so I hope to continue this blog and post pictures. I am gradually refining my packing list and collecting all the essential items. Liquids and the TSA 1-quart ziplock bag represent the biggest challenge. My goal always is to bring everyting I need in a single carry-on bag under 20 lbs.
