After spending more than a week in Brazil, we can tell you, this is a great place! We spent a couple of days in Rio, stayed in a hostel up the hill in one of the favelas near Copacabana. We were up early today and for the first time saw blue sky and sun. This was the day to travel up to Christ the Redeemer. After a quick breakfast we walked in to town and got the bus, then got the tram that takes us to the top of a 700m hill, where Christ stands on top of.
