Had a day of culture where we walked to old town and then up a mountain for 4 hours. Hard work but worth it. Met up with Maria who seems nice, and we start school tomorrow. We planning to go to the Quito Carnival tomorrow night and tonight to soak up a bit more of that authentic south american culture
