Hi, We're in Quito after very strenuous flight journey in which for some reason or another we got upgraded to buiness class which meant we actually didn´t want to get off the plane for once! Sampled the local culture last night by having our first meal in an Irish/American bar and having steaks and chips for supper. However we did find a more S. American bar where the large beers were 3 for $1.50 and ended staying there for most the night. Mac managed to wake me and aspi up by going on a run at what we later found out was about 6.30 our time and, as we thought it was about 2 in the afternoon we got up, meaning we now have most of the day ahead of us to look about the city. Hope all is well back in the UK and wherever everyone else is, we`ll keep you posted. xx
