We are still in Sydney, but have moved from being in the city centre, and have spent the last week in St Ives in north Sydney. We have been stying with a friend who we met in Thailand which has been cool. Makes a change being around a group of Aussies rather than in a backpackers. There is always stuff going on a places to go, and just some time to chill out also. Weather has been great, apart from a heavy rainstorm last night.
We managed to get caught in the storm as we went to watch the Waratahs v Brumbies game in the Super 14's. Was a good match, and the guy who got us tickets also bought us beer and food throughout the game. Thanks....
Last Sunday we also went to the first ODI Final between Australia and India. Roasting hot day, and had a great time. Was a pleasure to see a Tendulkar century, he was awesome. And also comedy to see a streaker!
The rest of the week we have spent chilling out at the park or the beach, going to a few parties in the evenings and generally having a lot of fun. Considered playing rugby today, but the game got cancelled in any event. We are going to move on to Curl Curl and the northern beaches on Monday. Hopefully get to learn how to surf and spend some more time in the sun on the beach. Will be good to catch up with people from a number of years ago, in the Seychelles. No other major news, but planning on leaving Sydney in about a weeks time to head further north.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY FOR YESTERDAY DAD!
Love Ben and Sam. x
