Hi guys

Just a quick blog to fill you in on the last few days we had in Sydney. We hired a car on Friday because it was easer to drive over the the airport for Ben's flying lesson but before we went we drove over to Bondi Beach which was beautiful and then down the south to see all the less famous but still gorgeous beaches.

Ben's flight was amazing - he got to fly north up the coast and saw Palm Beach (where Home and Away is filmed!) and also inland to the mountains...look at the pictures!. We spent the evening in Watson's Bay which is probably our favourite place yet as it was really quiet but had an amazing beach and harbour overlooking the whole city. We wanted to get fish and chips and eat them on the beach but promptly had to abandon this plan as Katie was attacked by seagulls trying to steal her chips! We stayed until sunset and then headed back to our hotel for a drink.

We spent Saturday wandering around the rocks in the morning - it's sort of old town sydney with really nice cobbled streets and little cafes and then went to see New South Wales play cricket at SCG - there was hardly anybody there but was really good to see.

On Sunday we went to the zoo! (Katie's request!) and spent most of the time with the Kualas and Kangaroos. It's really cool and looks over the bay. We came back to Circular Quay where there was a large screen and stand setup showing the Australian Open final and so stayed there to watch some of that!

Next stop New Zealand!!!
