Hello again people!!!
So when we last left you we were in Australia! How things have changed! We are now sat in an Internet caf in Dumaguete, Negros oriental, Phillippines! but wele get to that in bit!!!
So the last few days in Oz were pretty eventful! We went to a water park called wet and wild! was really good! we kept going on this slide that was like vertical and you go on a mssive inflatable clover and go into a funnel!was so funny... kinda had to be there!
the next day we drove all the way back to Brisbane. Dropped off the campervan but not before completly gutting it of all our crap and then waiting for about half an hour before they finalu cncluded that we didnt rip of a vent on the roof! Idiots and lukily they missed that we had lost a load of cuttlery and ripped 1 chair and completly broke the other 1!!! hehehe
any ways spent the night in a hostel and read a book and packed our bags properly! lol
Next day we flew to Manila in the morning after a crepe and a train ride to the station. after 9 hours on a plane we touched down in Manila... well iun the 18 years ive had on this planet, or 19 in Bekkis case lol, Ive never felt such heat in my life! It was so humid- the sun wasnt even out and i was wringing! any way not 1 minute later after getting out of the airport a man grabbed our luggage and said u need place to stay? we told him the hotel we wanted to go to and he dragged our stuff over to the hotel lounge wre the organized a private car to pick us up and take us-after a 15 min ride we got to the Mabuhay Manor and we checked in... After 4 months in scabby youth hostels I cant begin to tell you how nice this place was! Air con! 2 massive double beds, TV swiumming pools buffet brekkis, tiny little filipin men to take ur luggage to ur room and it was like 4 star luxury for about 20 pounds! we even got room service and made a call all for about 6 pounds! lol soo cheep here!
any ways next day we werre suposed to catcha direct flight to Dumaguete to travel then to my uncles house but no such luck! We happened to arive on a public hliday! so all fully booked for like 5 day! Otyher options... 22 hour boat journey or waiting to see if there was a cancellation in the airport! we chose the second one! lol so wen at the airport we we taked by these 2 random guys across these crazy roads to a little hut of a shop were they booked us ona flight to bocalod at the north of my uncles island-telling us it was a 2 hour bus journey to dumaguete... I was well nerouse in the rattly t6axi to the terminal as I thought they gave us fake tickets... turns out they didnt but I was a 4 hour journey to the north of the island... any ways we had to catch a taxi and 78 hours later acrooss farmland filled with Ox riding filipinos and bhamboo huts we arrived... to an extremely suprised Uncle and family!!!! I was so scared though!!! There was a massive rainstorm on the way and we didnt no were we were!!!! so funny!
Next few days were really cool! been into town a few times on the petty cabs! booked our return flights etc and had lots of BBQs went to my uncles friends house! it was so cool! It is so typical that as son as we arive the worst weather my uncle has seen in the 3 years hes been here hit! Wev had thetail end f a typhoon for thew last 4 days! SAtill unbearably hot and the rain is warm to and at this resort we had a massive BBQ and sat in this little tree house thing on the beack before swimming in the rain! so cool! then spent the evening anoying this little fat filipino kid called Louis... well he did put massive beatles on us so I put one in his pants! mwah hahah!
any ways that about brings us up to date! Going to a few other islands in the days to come so will catch up with you guys soon!
