After a small amount of sleep from last night we finally got up at 6:00 this morning for a quick breakfast before heading to the Vatican for a guided tour.
The Vatican is the worlds smallest country. We walked across it in about 30-40 minutes. We checked out St Peter's square and the basilica at the centre of it, went and saw the art gallery museum inside with artworks from artists like Michael Angelo and Leonardo Di Vinci and also walked through the Sistine Chapel with the famous roof painted by Michael Angelo himself.
After we left the Vatican, we got back on the bus and rocked on to Venice.
We got to camp and sorted our rooms and were sitting by the poolside by 7pm. With three hours of daylight to go they threw a bit of a pool party and the DJ got the music cranking.
It's very hot in Italy at the moment so the pool was packed and we were sipping on cocktails until it closed. We then headed inside for a dance and to socialize over a few games of pool. Josh, Hayden, Liam and I got stuck into a few drinking games that Yungi and a few of the other Koreans on our tour showed us and I started talking to a few guys from England who were also traveling around Europe. Lots of new friends made and lots of alcohol drunk. It made for a very good day. We headed to bed at 3am for a bit of sleep.
