Had a bit of a sleep in this morning before getting up to have breakfast at about 8am.
We caught the coach into the entrance to the Vatican before taking a taxi to the Coloseum for a guided tour with some of our group. Trying to catch a taxi in Rome is like trying to get a photo of Bigfoot. Impossible!
Finally got there, had a look around and it was awesome! This tour is a must do because it is so interesting and full of history.
After the Coloseum we took a tour around Palatine hill. This is where Rome first started. The stories the tour guide told were really insightful and we got to check out the archeological dig that they are currently performing there.
After that the girls and I had pasta for lunch at the Pantheon before having a look inside. Beautiful artwork, stunning statues and some really cool history there. It's definitely worth a look.
We took a taxi home after that, getting incredibly lost along the way. We stopped in at the supermarket to get a few drinks and then headed back to our bungalows.
We spent the afternoon chilling out with Scott, Grant and Phil before heading in for dinner which was chicken in a tomato sauce with tiramisu to follow.
After dinner we headed down to the pool where we ordered some drinks and played a few games of volleyball which was a lot of fun.
Tess, Christine and I then headed up to get ready for the traffic light party the camp was throwing for us.
We bought pillow cases earlier today in red for Tess, orange for Christine and green for me and made some really cute dresses out of them before closing in on the bar for drink buckets, games of pool and dancing.
The bar finally closed and we headed home for a night cap before heading to bed at roughly 3:30am. A good day!
