So today we got some breakfast and then took a walking tour around London with a group called 'New Europe'.
We did a free tour around Westminster with a tour guide called Rachel, who was excellent. She told a whole bunch of really funny and interesting stories about Buckingham Palace, Big Ben and Westminster Abbey, which I will have to write about later.
She took us to an Irish pub called 'The Monk' and we had a few drinks and some lunch and made a few new friends from America and France.
Getting used to our biphasic sleeping patterns, we headed home for a quick party nap before having a shower and heading out with Hayden to Angel in Islington. Here, we met up with Nathan from our last tour in Greece, who lives just around the corner and we all went for dinner at a really nice Brazilian restaurant.
The food was great! It was all you can eat, and they came around with meat on skewers which they rotisserie and cut off for you. Very different and interesting.
We then went round to a pub that Nathan recommended and had a few drinks and a chat before he had to go home so he wasn't tired for work the next day.
Hayden and I have definitely got a grip on the trains in London by this stage so we caught the tube back to the hostel and continued drinking at the bar.
We met two really nice girls (can't remember where they are from) and had a good night.
We ended up down the road at about 3am in a convenience store, buying frozen pizzas and asking the guy behind the counter if he could heat them up for us - which he did!
The pizza managed to sober me up a bit and ended up crashing back in the hostel at about 4am.
