This morning we woke up and packed our bags then headed to the port to wait for our ferry to Santorini.
Tarnia and I got breakfast at the bakery and then we boarded the boat for a three and a half hour ride to the port in Fira.
Hayden, Nathan, Jamison and I managed to get a good table at the front and then proceeded to order beers and play music over the boom box while we played a few games of cards.
We got to Santorini and holy cow, this place is incredible. The port backs onto these amazing cliffs and the coach travels from left to right up the cliff face in skinny roads that barely allow anyone to pass each other. It was actually pretty scary.
The hotel was quite nice and the rest of the afternoon was chilled out as we relaxed by the pool and had down time in our rooms.
We headed out to dinner at about 7pm with the group and then Panos took us for a walk around Santorini town centre.
We saw the 588 steps that take you from the port at the bottom to the town centre at the top. That's a lot of stairs! The city is built on the edge of a cliff face so there are stairs everywhere and the roof of one house will be the floor of another. It's really awesome to look at.
After the walking tour we headed to a bar called Murphy's where Tarnia and I drank cocktails and danced on the bar.
We had a look at a few different clubs before heading home with Jamison back to our hotel.
Made it to bed at 4am that morning.
