Hey

Just a quick email so sorry if there are any spelling mistakes!

Heres what I have been up to so far....

Tearful departure from manchester! Felt very sorry for meyself but aleast there was free wine on the plane! Got to Heathrow and had plenty of time to check in so had a stroll and sat outside the gate waiting to board. Then I found out I was sat outside the wrong gate and had to peg it down to the right gate and everyone was already seated on the plane!! Very dizzy! I did want to walk on the plane in a calm state but ended up walking on out of breath and sweaty! Was sat next to a spanish couple who just sat and snogged each other ALL THE WAY! Im sure they joined the mile high club! They were nice though and woke me for breakfast and chatted to me for the last hour or so of the flight. Got to Bangkok airport and a really old man from oz started talking to me when I was waiting for my bag and asked if we wanted to share a taxi to bangkok which scared me so I had to hide till he left! After about 30 mins waiting for my bag I was told it was still in Heathrow! I nearly starting crying! But then suddenly it turned up! Phew! Got a taxi and met stephs and claire, was so nice to see them. We just had a catch up and early night!

Yesterday we went shopping and bought loads to cheap clothes. Went on a tuk yuk so see lucky buddha! The food is crazy here, you can buy cow tounges or fried chickens feet! Yuk so I have stuck to veggie thai curry, very nice! Had a thai massage which was about 2 minutes from were we are staying at kates. Massage was a pleasure and pain experience and was only 200 tbh (about 3 pound). Went to watch a ping pong show last nite......OH MY GOD Very crazy and a bit scary! The people are friendly in Bangkok but you just have to careful that you are not ripped off because you are a tourist (farang- foreigners in thailand!).

Today we had a lie in and have come to the shopping centre and had a McDonalds (home comfort) and to go on the internet. We are going to go back for a massage then out to have a few drinks tonight and them off to Melbourne tommorrow. Looking forward to going to the beach in OZ!
