Don't think I'm going to have access to the internet for a while so thought I'd do another quick update before heading off on my East Coast tour.

Last day in Melbourne was really great. The area I was staying in was just so undeniably cool and chilled (ignoring the fact that I got licked on the face by a dog whilst lying in the park) and no one could comprehend why I was only travelling for 3 months not years!
Headed back to the free festival and saw more amazing wake-boarding tricks then got completely lost on the way back to the hostel, good way to see more of the city! Exhasted in the evening and ended up sitting through the entire 1st season of the Inbetweeners someone had put on tv. Very odd as it had been recorded of E4 so there kept being adverts for "later on Hollyoaks!"

The 12 hour train journey to Sydney was pretty interesting, saw bits of rural Aus that wouldn't have otherwise- including someone using a microwave as a mailbox! They even had the option of having Devonshire Tea if one so desired.

Old friends are putting up with me in their spare room just outside of Sydney. Headed into town yesterday and saw all the standards - Opera House, Harbour Bridge... Rather rashly decided that it would be a good idea to do an extreme jet boat tour of the harbour- bloody terrifying! Huge jumps, spins and waves big enough to make the ponchos we had completely pointless. Ignored the fact I was there by myself and screamed along with the rest of them!

Just been chilling here the rest of the time and taking advantage of the ability to do laundry, have my own room and be provided with great food!
