Sydney Welcomes Becky and Mark for Xmas and New Year!

We arrived in Sydney at around 10ish and headed straight to pick up my parcel Mum and Dad had sent me for Xmas...Thanks Mum and Dad!!

We arrived at Wynyard Hotel where we were due to stay for 2 nights. It was a little hotel on top of a pub. It was a bit run down, but cosy I guess.

The first day we checked out Darling Harbour as we are staying about 200m from it! I thought it looked amazing, probably because the weather was so nice. We had a look around some shops and ended up having an early night after we roughed it at the airport the evening before!

The next day we went to Bondi Junction shopping. The weeather weren't that great so it was the best option. I must say, I haven't been that impressed with Sydney's shopping so far! Didn't actually buy anything, can you believe that?! That night we wmet up with all our Fraser Island buddies and went out drinking in Darling Harbour, crikey it was expensive...$10 for a a bottle of Corona!

Today 23rd (oooo 2 days before xmas...although not very excited because I'm missing my Mum's food and all the chocs so much, oh and my cheese eating sessions with my Dad) we had to check out and move to their sister hotel. As we couldn't check in until 2.30pm and it was a scorcher of a day, we dumped our luggage and headed to Bondi Beach to soak up the sun. I got very burnt! I loved it there though. We went back to actually check in our hotel. It was the most discusting place we've ever seen, and we've been in sh*t holes! We checked straight out again and headed to find somewhere else. Luckily got checked in at the Travelodge, 200m from Circular Quay. I felt tlike royalty, it's amazing. I got to have a bath!! Definately the place to stay for Christmas. We are soo happy now!!
