Hi everyone! just thought I'd take a few minutes to let you all know what I'm up to these days! I'm still in gorgeous Darwin and its like pure paradise here. Its always 32 degrees, there are palm trees and frangipani trees (which smell gorgeous!), the sea is an aquamarine blue and is so warm and the sand is just as warm. The beaches are deserted most of the time apart from the odd aboriginal person wandering about. My favourite part of this place has got to be the Mindil Beach noght markets every thursday evening, where you turn up to the beach just before sunset and watch the sun go down about 6.30pm on the beach then just behing the sand dunes are all these tiki hut style stalls that sell the most amazing stuff. One of my favourite marquees has to be my didjeridoo man!! theres this group called EmDee who are a 4 piece group that specialise in raw didge sounds accompanied with drums, its almost like drum and bass music its absolutely awesome! i advise people to go on youtube and search for them! the markets also have every kind of food stalls you could ever imagine, any food in the whole world...they sell. Its amazing and I'm still trying to make my way round all of them!

My jobs are great, I work in Shenanigans, an irish oub right next door to my hostel and were all like a little family in there. we all get on so well and everyones lovely. I;ve met some awesome girls, Rachel, Ellie and Kellie and of course I met my boys, Dan, Neil and James!!

My melbourne and 2 of my Bondi girls, Hallas and Fowler, came up not long after I arrived so its been non stop working and partying! I absolutely love it here and could definately live here. I've already picked out my holiday apartment over looking Mindil Beach! Having a blast, enjoying every second and don't really want to think about returning to rainy old england yet!
