Cartagena Columbia.
when you step out of bed at 8am and back away into the shade of the cabin due to the heat...you know its going to be a crazy hot day. 88 degrees at 8am....gulps!!
we had a really good day in Cartagena, the horse drawn carriage ride was brilliant and the streets were shady and very colonial looking. Some of the horses looked a bit worse for wear but the majority looked good and ours, a nice grey, was a great chap.
Back on the ship by early afternoon was a blessing! we went into the pool and stayed there lol. oh....we went to get an ice cream on board the ship and were told that the ice cream had melted...INSIDE the icecream making machine....now thats silly hot!
Not sure what the temp got to in the midday sun....but it was way toooooooo hot for us.
off to Aruba now! should be getting warmer now that we are heading north...when I say warmer....its still in the carribean. lol

Barbara and Gary Just to make you feel a little bit better, the temperature Thursday Morning reached -4.9 C, so there was nodanger of our ice cream melting. The pictures from the Canal webcams were very impressive but obviously nothing to being there. I hope Little Little is keeping covered up as we don't want her skin to peel.
