Day 24 & 25
Been in a bit of a rush lately and so this one is going to be a 2 for 1. Also I must mention that Wednesday was Adams birthday and I hope everyone remembered to send him some love. :)
A luxurious walk down to the boys hostel was how I started the day today. Azza had just moved in with Zac and Aidan at Hayarkon hostel and Gav was off with his sister for her birthday, meaning that if anything was going to happen, I would have to meet them there. After proving once and for all that I truly am the best pool player, we left their hostel and headed towards the 'Shuk haCarmel' (Carmel Markets) to take a look around.
After hearing so much about the man who advertises his food by simply yelling 'delicious, delicious' over and over again, I ventured through the markets seeking him out (not that he was hard to find).
He described his food perfectly. It was probably the best and almost the cheapest food I have had in Israel so far. It was a combination of beef and chicken on a baguette with hummus, fried onions, tehina and salad. Amazing! After grabbing that and a smoothie which was almost as good as Boost, we wandered around the market for a bit, on the hunt for something good to buy.
From there I headed off from the boys, meeting Ad at Dizengoff centre who gave me a lift through to Leaati. With Leeat I had quite the day going from place to place eventually getting back to hers at about 8pm. There the Avishag, Amalia and Arava blackmailed me with their cuteness into having a sleepover and so I spent the night there playing games and messing around.
An early wake up the next morning, with the girls having to rush out the house and me tagging along. After dropping the girls off and their summer camp, Leeati dropped me at home, where I realized the time was about 9am. Knowing that Az, Zac and Aid were in Jerusalem since last night and Gav wouldnt be up for another 3 hours, I took it easy, watching some movies in Adams apartment.
Once Gav woke up, I made my way to his, where we sat for 2 hours trying to organise our accomdation in Eilat and Athens. By the time we walked out the house we were starving so we grabbed a quick falafel and hit the beach. Running into Aizen and the Aviv boys, we chilled with them for a bit soon making our way to their place. We stuffed around for a bit there and before I knew it, it was 8pm. After a quick shower and change at Adam, Shira and Ziv picked me up to go see a movie.
We grabbed some Japanika, (sushi restaurant) which was awesome and then saw London Boulevard, a well made but somewhat weird movie about a gangster who is released from Jail. Once that finished it was 1am, but the night was still young. They dropped me off on Allenby street where I met up with the boys from earlier as well as Hoffy and some of his friends. A few of us made our way down to the club 'Clara' on the beachfront where after using our adorable Aussie accents we were easily let in to yet another over 25 club.
After kicking it there for a couple of hours, meeting some lovely Venezuelans and listening to some of the weirdest music of all time we all headed home, grabbing a pizza along the way. I walked in at about 4am and after a quick 'Milky', I was off to bed.
