Day 33 & 34
Out the door in Athens and on the way to the Ferry by 630 in the morning. After a rather relaxing stroll we were on the train which was absolutely packed at 7am. So after a squashy ride there with out bags we were straight onto our ferry.
The ferry was chilled with everyone catching up on some sleep wherever they could. Myself on the public couch, Aidan on the floor under his seats, and the other boys spread throughout the room. Breakfast was at its usual standard with all of grabbing something nutritious along the lines of ice cream, beer or cookies.
After a long 4 hours we arrived at Mykonos and as per normal everyone jumped up as soon as we docked shoving to get off. Eventually making it to the exit, we walked off and realized we had no idea where to go or who to call to find our accommodation. We knew the name of our place but that was about it. We walked around for a bit asking anyone and everyone for help.
Whilst talking to someone who kind of knew the area they pointed out a car driving past that had the same name as the place we were staying. After chasing the car down, we found out that this by chance was the owner of our place and he gave us a lift into town.
We dumped our stuff and were straight out the door. We grabbed our first of many (and I mean MANY) gyros (Greek kebabs) and rented our ATVs :). We hit the road grabbing petrol, dropping Aidan at the gym and and setting off to Paradise beach.
After enjoying the beach we went back to our place and chilled for a bit, appreciating the aircon and our comfortable beds. But that didn't last long after we heard about the beach party back at paradise.
We were back there in a hurry and by 7pm it was pumping loud. We grabbed a drink and got into the groove with people from all over the world. Whilst the party itself was cool, the mc on the microphone was the highlight. Wearing an elephant trunk thong, he got everyone into the mood by repeated use of his mantra which encouraged others to open not only their minds...
By 9ish the party had cooled off and we headed back into town. Knowing we would have a big night ahead of us we thought we would grab a couple of hours of shut eye before going out. However when the time came to wake up, we struggled to get out of bed. After gavs forceful encouragement we dragged ourselves out for a bite and headed to check out the pub scene.
After a good walk around in the town and bit of bar hopping, we were too tired to continue and headed home by 2.
We were up relatively early the next morning and wasted no time heading out for breakfast gyros. After our quick snack we decided to head off to beach, but when we saw how many there were, we had trouble deciding which to go to. Yesterday we had gone to paradise beach and thought it was amazing, so we had no idea what to expect when we heard of Super Paradise Beach.
So we set off there and indeed it was amazing, so much so it forced us to remain there for the rest of the day. Aidan printed his shirt, which I'm sure many of you have seen by now and the rest of us relaxed some more on the beach and work on our tans.
Once the beach's superness had worn off, we headed back home and had yet another Afternoon Siesta. Waking up at 11 we got dressed, had some drinks and headed to the club on the beach by about 1.
Whilst initially we were meant to see Sebastian Ingrosso, he was involved in a car crash and never made it to the gig. :( However we still did get to see John Course and because Sebastian never came our tickets became cheaper.
The club was incredible, with 100s of people there we ran into so many friends from home. We partied all night, made many new friends and even scored some free accommodation across Europe. The night seemed to last forever as we partied till dawn, however once I got glass in my foot and the other boys were too tired to stay on we headed home at about 6.
Walking in at 630 we all crashed, having our first of many big nights in Mykonos
