Our last day in Yeppoon.
Late morning we walked into town, tide was well in so unfortunately couldn't walk all the way on the beach. Morning tea was spent at the sailing club overlooking about 100 kids going through their paces out in the bay in their little dingy's.
After lunch we had a tour of Shell World, an amazing collection of more than 20,000 shells from around the world.
Then we ventured further down the coast to Emu Park, home to the Singing Ship, erected to honour the one and only Captain James Cook who discovered and named Keppel Bay.
Lastly we visited the Emu Park Centenary of Anzac Memorial which included a reflective memorial boardwalk, the gateway gallery which provides a timeline of WW1's many major battles of war and a stunning sandstone and sculpture cenotaph. Overall the precinct has been very well done.
Back home to start the packup, have another seafood dinner and watch Back To The Future III.
