Noosa is picturesque. it has a v nice national park and a stunning beach. it is bit more upmarket than other backpacker friendly towns but still has a nice friendly feel to the place and a very relaxed ambience. we stayed in koalas backpackers for a couple of nights and used it to recharge for the hectic two weeks that lay ahead, starting with rainbow beach and fraser island, c

If the world's cities were to have a dinner party then brisbane would definitely sit next to singapore. they could talk about how green, clean and generally pleasant they are whilst at the same time boring all the other cities to death. we stayed in city backpackers...looked around brisbane, decided it was nice, then moved on. if u r planning to go, i wouldnt advise staying long without a good book.
