Sadly we didn't actually see a whole lot of Delhi in the end as I spent 2 days throwing up (lovely) and so was stuck in our hotel room, and Barney kindly stayed in to look after me (we did have a tv in the room however and managed to watch about 15 films between us in the two days - mostly bad ones it has to be said!). Made it to the Red Fort for an hour but then felt a bit weak and pathetic and had to leave!
Felt much better by the time we got to Agra and so glad we went. We expected the Taj Mahal to be something of an anticlimax so we were surprised by how beautiful and impressive it actually was. We got up before dawn to see it without all the crowds, and so were among the first through the gates. It just looked stunning, as did the grounds around it, and after having a walk round we just sat on a bench for ages gazing at it, and found it hard to drag ourselves away!
