After a loooonngg flight n two dodgy salmon starters later we finally land in Oz! Iv got to say, i really do agree with the tight laws over here to pass through the airport but when you get a fittie with a dog making gestures to it to sniff your behind and saying 'find it!'thats a little disconcerting! Ha
So we get through and meet Ann and Alec. So great to see them both after such a long time.
We make the short journey back to A&A's and it is beautiful. The scenery is amazing. Just so lush and the views are to die for. Feel so lucky to be here....then i meet my first spiddy! Iv named him Heracio the Huntsman! Hes a smaller version of what they can really grow into but im kool with that....oh and the fact that he seems well, half dead! So i touch him! Yes i know, im brave!! Aaha!
Now to get the guided tour! Wow what a beautiful place. And the neighbours are at least afew fields away. Theres Alpacas in the fields, Kangaroo's too.
After a cuppa (beer in dads case at 11am! Ledge!) i shower 37 hrs of travelling away then Ann, dad and I 'hit the shops'........basically dad wanted to go to what can only be described as a huge charity shop/TK max! Lol so funny!
Jetlag starting to catch up with us so we head home, after a quick trip through a booze 'drive thru' for some VB stubbies! Cheers mate! We get back and Ann suggested we go for a walk which is just what i needed to stay awake. We got kitted up in waterproofs n off we went. It was lovely. Really quite dense. Well dense for me! We came across a fallen down tree so we dragged the majority of it into the bushes. See! Im not scared of snakes anywhere......!! We got back from the walk and a good catch up and dried off (the waterproofs werent that waterproof in the end!) After a lovely meal and wine it was time i hit the hay, after several '2nd winds' and my first sleep in 2days i went to bed. Nite!
