This morning we woke to the sound of rain on the tent which was very sad, especially as we are at the beach and there's not much to do in bad weather. The wind blew a gale all night, rattling the tent and keeping us awake, so after Jamie got up and went for a fish off the rocks, I went back to sleep for a bit until the rain subsided. We all walked down the beach to the point which was tough going in soft sand and a very strong head wind. After more unsuccessful fishing we came back and had lunch before taking a drive down to Yardie Creek to look at the access track that could take us to Coral Bay tomorrow. There were cars bogged in sand when we got there which indicated that it may not be such a good idea to take that route south. We then drove up to Turquoise Bay which is exactly as its name suggests. We didn't go in the water as it was too cold and windy, hopefully tomorrow the weather is a little better and we can have a snorkel on our way through. We came back to camp and lazed around reading books then kicked the footy for a bit before joining the other campers at happy hour. Next we cooked up some spaghetti for dinner, then played some cards before going to bed.
