G'Day Miss Barbra, Hope you're enjoying Melbourne. Good Luck to Nick ... I think the swimming starts today. Some of the opening ceremony was a bit cringey ... what about that old tram flying down and the giant koalas ?? P-leeeeeze ...
Got scorching weather in Sydders - you left too soon! Enjoy St Kilda ... but if you stand close to the kerb make sure your skirt is down past your knees and don't make eye contact with those nasty men.
Later. Love, Pammy-Sue x x x

Hi Bella, Good to see you are enjoying Melbourne. We are up to our ass in snow, in Nevis's case it was up to his neck. John and I took the boys on to the golf course for wee run, Nev was exhausted he had to hop through the snow, I offered to carry him but the wee scone's growl told me No! Off tomorrow will write in your personal email soon. Seeing wee Gill next week, planning our holiday to Islay but going to Blair Atholl first. Hope you are ok I had a look at the paper to see when Nick was swimming. I will need to get up in the middle of the night, so tell him to swim fast and to wave from the podium. Hope you are cosier than us. Take care Chick. LOL GM and Curly. xxxxx

Hi Bella, Make sure you don't lead that poor lad astray he needs to focus. Saw him on Sunday so hopefully he got his packing done as it was not even started then. Hope you get a flat soon and a wee job. Have had a busy week will phone you soon. Our snow has gone at last, your Ma got stuck again today as did Father. They need 4 wheel drives. Going with Granny tomorrow to get her new glasses, I need to pick them as she cannot see an inch in front of her nose. Everyone well, looking forward to my holiday week end of March. John is watching the football your man Thierry is playing, nice butt! Take care. LOL GM and C xxxxxxxx

Hi there Barbra - glad that you are doing OK down under and that you have managed to catch some rays. You would'nt believe the snow here, we have had loads and it will take ages to defrost and get the gardens back in order set for Spring, the chickens are bored stiff stuck in their coop area, but can't let them out as they will be fit for the freezer in no time at all! Know that the Commonwealth teams are gathering ready for the events and wish Nick the best of luck in his heats etc. and we will be watching attentively. Take care of yourself, will post again later, - Lynda x

G'Day Miss Barbra,
So, Melbourne beckons. Let me warn you, Melbourne is quite ENGLISH, it used to choke Liam when everybody said to him "Doesn't this remind you of home?" And he would reply with "No. Glasgow is nothing like this."
You'll love Melbourne, I'm sure. Remember to check out Port Melbourne as well as St Kilda. You'll love the promenade walk between PM and SK. And, at some stage, try to get down to WILSON'S PROM where I guarentee you'll see wild kangaroos and koalas.
Enjoy the Commonwealth Games - what a huge opportunity to be personally supporting someone you know - Good Luck to Nick.
Have fun! And, if you come back to sunny Sydney, remember our door is always open.
Love, P-S x x

Hi Baby Lou
I have been fiddling about with some of your photographs and added some from your cd onto the photo albums. Auntie Rhona is here this weekend to help with Sophie's party. The band has arrived in the garage and they are setting up their equipment. Sophie is really excited. Wish us luck! We have a few bottles of wine to keep us going!! LOL Mum xxx

Hi Bella,
You are really getting to grips with the travelling bit. The photos Pam sent were very lovely. You look sun-kissed rather than well bronzed, glad to see you are heeding the advise. You will be off to Melbourne soon, cheer loud for Nick. I have been watching the winter olympics fancy the luge and bobsleigh myself. Going up to the frozen north tomorrow, got some tasty pressies for the Smout. Your day at the Blue Mountains sounded fun, Pam no doubt was in her element on the story front. At least you know the box of tissues story! Have a safe trip to Melbourne and we await your next installment. LOL GM and C xxxx

Hi Bella, Good to chat to you on Saturday, I hope you had a fun night out. I have just had an email from Pam and she told me your plans for Tuesday, sounds like a busy day. Pam thought you sounded very Scottish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you will have speak slowly to her she is english although Liam has tried hard to educate her in Scottishness. G&P are busy decorating their hall so will kee away from them for a few days. Did well with the garden luckily we ran out of sand and it started with some seasonal sleet plus my fingers were falling off with cold now indoors. Have a good with Pam and Liam give them our love and remember don't listen to her stories, look forward to the photos from both of you. If you need anything let me know and we can send it out with Nick. LOL GM and Curlyxxxxxx

I have seen the message from Pam, she is very cheeky about my history. If she had been still working in Saudi on the night of the party she would have been with me, so don't think Pam is a pillar of the church. Spoke to Mum tonight she told me you were doing fine. You will be getting used to the transport system now I hope, finding the shops etc. Looking forward to seeing the photos once you locate an internet cafe. Still freezing here and if the crocus had any sense they would stay underground. Doing the bricklaying in the garden this weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Still it will be worth it in the end. LOL GM and Curly xxxxxxxx

G'Day Babs,
Hope you're enjoying Sydney. Check out the QE2 that is docked opposite the Opera House - it's an amazing sight.
Sorry the weather isn't so good - very un-typical (honset!)
Liam and I have just got back from holiday and if you are looking for somewhere to stay you're very welcome to use our house as your own / as a base / whatever. There's masses of space and you could come and go as you please. We live on the Lower North Shore, about 5 miles north (over) the Harbour Bridge, towards Chatswood (fab for shopping.) Please know that our door is always open. You'd be able to cope with us - we'd be easy after dealing with your crabbit aunt for 20 something years. Tel 9418 3300 (BTW - Have you bought yourself a local SIM card??)
Now, I have to note my concerns, only ever knowing one person from your family who has ever travelled before ....
AND SHE ENDED UP IN JAIL !! So, if you have any similar naughty genes - TRY to reign them in!! Ha ...
Hope you're enjoying our beautiful country. And, that we can catch up soon.
Have Fun!
Love, Pam

Hi, You are obviously very busy, hope you have settled in your new temporary home. I was going to call during the night as I was awake for hours but must have fallen asleep before I could brave the cold night to find the phone. I plan to give you a call at the weekend. Could do with hearing you! I have played your CD lots will probably need another one soon. I have it on the laptop so I can listen while doing Curly's accounts. Lauren is coming thru' this weekend with her flatmate Cara so peace shattered. New hall now finished-well nearly. Granny and Papa had a look at your web site and read your first real postcard. Take care Chick and be good. LOL GM xxxxxxx
