4 days, 3 nights, 27 miles, squat toilets, no showers, 4000 steps 4200m altitude, many chocolate bars and we did it! Inca trail done!!

It was probably the hardest thing we've ever done,but the most amazing at the same time. After 4 days of walking, the sight of Macchu Picchu appearing through the mist is indescribable.

It was an eventful trip as always. Highlights include: making it through dead woman's pass, laughing so hard with a great group of people, playing s***head, waking up with a view of the mountains and of course, Macchu Picchu itself.

Its incredible how it is so remote, yet the Inca civilization was completely selk sufficient. And 600 years later, the methods of the Incas are still being implemented today.

Would highly recommend it!
