The next day we went to pisco elqui which is where they make pisco. Its a very picturesque village in the valley. When we arrived we went looking for our apartment we rented, we looked for ages in this very small village and couldnt find it anywhere and the people we asked didnt really know either and just gave us vague directions, in the end we found it and it was a great place. In the evening we went to a local observatory and saw the stars. We saw galaxies, dwarf galaxies and constellations and Venus.
The next day we rented bikes and biked 17k through the hottest part of the day (not wise) there was very little shade but the views were amazing and when we got halfway we stopped and had a delightful bottle of tropical kem. (God knows what was in kem) when we got back we enjoyed a pisco sour ice cream and visited the local church there.
