Saw this sign on the way back from Kivik to Malmo, and had to turn around to take a picture. I guess our little guy is destined to be an electrician. It would be handy to have an electrician in the family with our old house.
Simrishamn, Sweden
Rented a car today to drive out to Kivik art center. It was an amazing drive through rolling farmland and along the coast. This is supposed to be the Provence of Sweden. The raps (not sure what the translation is) fields were all in bloom, and everywhere was carpeted in yellow flowers.
Malmö, Sweden
Swedish BBQ for lunch. Not exactly the sort of dive you look for in American barbecue, but they make a mean brisket. The setting is more like a beer garden, with cute yellow picnic tables along the canal.
Nassjo, Sweden
The lakes in Sweden rolling by on my way from Stockholm to Malmo. All this time in Sweden and Finland has made me want a cabin of our own. I'm anxious for summer weekends at the lake.
