Today we got to Ceduna. We went over the Nullabor - just before the Nullabor we did a geocache at Madura pass. In Eucla we went to see the telegraph station that got buried by sand dunes. "2nd Little Pig"
Today we crossed the Nullabor. We went to see the Whale watch centre at the head of the bight - saw a nob of them. One of the whales was on its back flapping tis flippers. We read on the board that it does this to stop its baby from getting a suckle - but we did not get to see the babies. "3rd Little Pig"
Oh boy am I sore, stiff neck; and a very wonderful wife I can tell today is going to be good!!!!For some different today we thought we would take a little drive not far just 1200 kms!! (Sherree still reckons it is only 1000).Today is going to be special we are going to stop every 500 metres and take in the beauty of the millions of wall-to-wall smoke bushes. We stop to watch whales frockling in the turquoise coloured waves basically just some big animals taking a swim. But no time to watch giant mammals swimming we need to keep the pedal to the metal, next stop Ceduna! On the way the boys rebelled stating they would not set up the tents, as they are not good enough. So with some careful mediation I was able calm the situation and suggested we stay in a hovel, not just any hovel but the mother of all hovels.Ceduna didn't let us down we found the best hovel you have ever seen, we all agreed it was great.Time for bed we have another big driving day at least 600kms.
