Hola amigos!

I was lucky to fly over the Brasilian Amazon still in the daytime. the picture shows one of the many snake lakes meandring throught the rainforest.

First night and morning in Lima. Straight away I got a bit of Peru flavour when taxi driver tried to convince me last night on the way to the hostel that he wants to be paid agreed sum in Dollars instead of Nueve Soles!!! No way, but nice try though!

The hostel is small but full of people. Last night there was a Halloween party going on. It was quite surreal to be welcomed by people sprayed with artificial blood and knifes sticking out of their heads!

Right, time to get dressed, ditch the make up routine and see how Lima is celebrating Todos Santos, All Saint's Day.
