Hola!

I got to the Milhouse hostel, checked in and wasd taken to the room. It´s therew where I met Julianne for the first time. We have only been exchanging emails and Skyping so far (she has been in Arequipa volunteering for the last three months) so it was great to finally meet personally my new travelling companion.

Julianne arrived in Cusco in the morning and managed to unpack a bit. I tried to do the same then take a shower as I was quite smelly after the overnight journey. We also met Chris, our flatmate from Milton Keyes, UK and headed to town to try the local cuisine that you can see on the uploaded photos. We chose a local picanteria run by afamily restaurant where it seemed locals often eat.

We returned to the hostel for 6pm for briefing for the tour to Manu National Park with Crees organisation. Ronnie, our guide and naturalist was already waiting for us. He explained what we need to pack, what time he will pick us and what is the itinerary for the trip.

YAY!!!!! WE ARE HEADING TO THE AMAZONIAN RAINFOREST TOMORROW :)))))) !!!!!
