Friday started nice and slow at Karins. Before noon we went to Melbourne Zoo and on the way we had a quick glance at all the sights. The zoo was interesting and it was fun to see all the native Australian animals up close. The birds in trees sounded like as if hundred trucks were reversing, and by the time we were finished at the zoo, we were quit annoyed with them. The day began with Karin wakening us up at about ten - we've slept very deep for about ten hours… Then Marie-Louise and Nina played tennis with Karin's two girls while Rebekka was cheering on the side (not looking like a ruler at all…). Klatretøserne kommer! Well, Karin took us to Belgrave – just the place if you like climbing trees. After getting on a helmet, gloves, and lot of strings we were guided to the introduction tree. Here we learned how to attach and lock ourselves to the wires that connected the beautiful old Eucalyptus trees. We began on the green route together with the kids.
