Hello everyone, today is a far better day in Sunny Sydney!!

Ray celebrated his birthday today by climbing the harbour bridge whilst Karen & joe went for a guided tour around the opera house and stumbled upon the philharmonic practising, apparentlty the sound was fantastic.

Ray however couldn't hear a thing from over 300 feet up above the water at the top of the bridge. For a further birthday treat we are dining out tonight at 'Doyles on the Quay' for some real seafood, not the tiddly asda prawns!!!

Joe appears to have shrugged off all the remaining jet lag and is back on form.

A specific message for grandad - the money is being put to good use. our quest for an ice cream in every venue is still safe having trawled Hong kong airport and finding a dodgy version of a cornetto - not sure what the local name for that is though.
