Hi there Bill & Rosemary,
Don't know if you recall eating at the Kommetjie Grill on the Cape Peninsula? We had a long chat about your adventure and I have been keeping an intermittent eye on your progress. I see that you are up in Botswana at the moment - enjoying every minute I am sure. A wildlife paradise I believe. Will continue to watch you progress. Take care and enjoy.
Kind regards,
Neville and Pat Lance

Hi Bill & Rosemary
At last made time to visit your website. We briefly chatted in June, in the car park at Klein Aus Vista camping site in Namibia. Long since back home and working. Hope your travels are still going according to plan. If you visit our part of South Africa feel free to contact us - we always have a bed available or a nice cup of tea. We live in Nelspruit, close to the Kruger National Park and Mozambique and can always help with info should you need some. Happy & safe travels !!

Dear Bill and Rosemary,Hi, hope all is going well. I see you are getting much closer to Malawi. Do you know when you will arrive so I can make some plans for you? It would be good to link you in to the work. we will be in Malawi 4th to 23rd October. Really look forward to catching up with you.
In the UK we are now linking schools in the UK with schools in Malawi. 100 have signed up, including Pluckley. They are exciting times.
I will now read your message board to catch up on all the news.
God Bless
Chris and Yuri

RoseMaria & Dill, Olà from Ségou. We are leaving to Europe on the 24th and I just wanted to tell you that the FARM is ours and that you could have gone there ofcourse, lots of housing, swimming pool, big dam, landing strip with hangar and even horses to get around. Where are you these days, maybe not too late to go back to NAM. Also did you not get in touch with Ian, our friend and partner, why wanting to do things the difficult way around when it can also be done the easy way ?!
Well, keep me updated anyways, I'll be definitely going down south to the farm for long, long weeks in December, be my guest ! Happy trails to you now, Mark

Hello Rosemary and Bill.
Peta, Stanley, Jonathan and I have been following your travels with huge interest. The photo's are fantastic and am so glad there are plenty of shots of Moby! We are planning our trip to Morocco next year now as we are short of funds but the whole family is already very excited. Looking at your site makes us want to up and go now! Debbie Smith wont be coming with us as she has fallen head over heels in love with a dashing pilot so roughing it in the lanny is not on her list of priorities! Besides which, she managed to write her 110 off on the road to Tenterden back in February. No one hurt but she not interested in getting another one. Life at Pluckley School is as busy as ever - we do get your postcards and each class reads them eagerly. We are also continuing to raise funds for Starfish Malawi. Well, the best of luck as you continue with your adventure. All the best, Dawn and family.
PS would love to have update on most useful pieces of kit so far!

Dear Dawn and Family
It was such a lovely surprise to have a message from you and to hear your news. Was so pleased to hear of your plans for your forthcoming trip to Morocco we know you will have a great time there, would love to hear of where you are planning to go.
Thank goodness that Debbie wasn't hurt but also sorry to hear about her Landie as I know how much she liked it. However tell her I am really pleased about her new love and wish her all the best.
Perhaps she will be getting cheap flights instead of having to think about driving overland!
So glad you are still enjoying our travels there is more update on S Africa on our postcard and we are trying to get the photos on.
At present we are in Maun in Botswana.
Hope things are slowing down at Pluckley as the holidays are looming am sure Stanley and Peta are so grown up now Peta must be in the UJ next term!
Will let you know about the useful kit but definitely a Kelly Kettle.
Thanks again for your message and love to you all

Dear Rosemary & Bill,
I hope all is going well for you. I am sorry to tell you that Aunt Kathleen died this morning in hospital, where she had been for just over a week. It is a mercifcul release for her, but of course tough on Michael. He is at present on sick leave himself until 11 July, so has no access to computer- hence this message from me. My brother John and his wife Anne will certainly be going to Norfolk to funeral, but we have no details yet.
love from Sheila.

Dear Rosemary and Bill,
Long time since we wrote to you, Christmas day I think was the last time, doesn't time fly! Have just printed off all your news.
Wonderful pictures of your travels, especially the ones of the wildlife. We are going to S. Africa next March so are especially interested in reading about your experiences there. We have a few friends from that part of the world and have been pestering them with various questions.
Michael usually keeps me up to date with your news but with your Auntie barbara being so poorly I think he has more pressing things on his mind.
Glad to see you have the landrover back and are on the move again.
Enjoy exploring more territory!
Best Wishes, Lindsey and John.

Hi Bill and Rosemary
We met you in the Richtersveld when you were camped in that idyllic spot next to the Orange River. After leaving the park, we went to Eksteenvallei - a road that turned off from the road towards Lekkersing. I hope you did not take this road as it was really bad. We travelled throught the catchment area of the Holgat River (the flood that destroyed the Holgat bridge) and the devastation in the area was frightening. We received photos of the flood from an employee of the mining company that showed the scene just before the bridge gave way - if you are interested let me know and I will gladly e-mail them to you.
We ended our mini tour by cycling through parts of Lesotho. A magnificent country with people who have smiles on their faces despite their abject poverty. Spent our last night at Sani Top beforte descending on our bikes down the pass. What a great and heart-stopping experience as the strong gale threatened to blow us off our bikes at stages. Back safe and sound here in Scottburgh and now all we have left are the memories and the pictures.
Travel safely. Henry Parsons
