Hi everyone!

We have had lots on our plates these last few weeks, which is why there have been no updates.

However, we are now bringing you an update from the 20th of September. Starting from friday the 18th, we had a 9-day holiday due to a cambodian public holiday called Pchum Ben Day, where people go to temples, give donations to monks and honour their ancestors.

During this holiday we went to Siem Reap to see the temples of Angkor and to Sihanoukville to relax by the beaches. We kicked the holiday off on saturday 20th, however, with a social activity arranged by Projects Abroad called Dirty Weekend.

What we were going to do was to literally get our hands dirty to improve conditions at one of the projects, and this time it so happened that we were going to paint a wall at Tobbe's placement, the SCC.

There were 8 of us going and we had a blast. We were also joined by a few of the kids from the school, who helped with the painting. Unfortunately it started to rain heavily about halfway through, so we could not finish more than one segment of the wall. The rest we will do this saturday, October 4th, Linda's B-day!!!

Despite the rain it was an amazing experience, and we have a ton of pictures. Head over to the SCC album and check it out.
