So here it is. My last day in Africa. I have had such an amazing 6 weeks. Lots of tears over the last few days as 1 by 1 we go our separate ways. I sat up last night finishing my journal of the trip and decided to list the highlights just incase I had forgotten to write anything. I had two pages, just of one sentence highlights!!!!
Balloon flight over Massai Mara, Quad biking on dunes in Namibia, elephants by the roadside everywhere in East Africa (will never tire or get over that). Giraffe just minding their own business, running in the desert, watering hole at Etosha, rock climbing at Spitzcop, my tent, swimming from South Africa to Namibia, the truck, sandboarding, climbing dune 45 and surviving, the food, the roads, the people, the children, the friends, the delta, the Ngorogoro crater, white water rafting on Zambezi, walking the top of Victoria Falls, the gorge swing, superman, helicopter flight, Heinie's Grandmother, Heinies township and it's beautiful children, camping in the serengeti, zebra's eating grass round the tent in the night, cuddling a cheetah, tickling a lion, riding an elephant...... and there is so much more!!!
Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia, Botswana, Namibia, South Africa - 7 countries in 6 weeks .... what a ride!!!!

yvonne Hi Anne - Nag Bag Grayson here...Absolutely thrilled to bits you are having a wonderful time and jeez you have done so much - now did you learn any afrikaans??? It seems amazing you have done soooooo much in what seems like such little time. I lived in Africa for bloody years and I didn't do a quarter of what you have done - WONDERFUL!!!!!!! Find yourself a nice life guard on the beach in Australia and - might be more fun that cuddling a cheetah and tickling a lion - on the other hand!!!! Keep the blogs coming girl! Didn't really get to learn any Africaans, other than Jambo and Asanti san, Heinie our guide really tried getting us to speak basic stuff in his township but it never really happened. I feel I have left a piece of my heart in Africa, so amazing, still keep crying about all the stuff we did. Oz has got a lot to live up to.
