3rd Dec
Once we were all settle into our hotel, we went off exploring the streets of the city and then took tuk tuk's to the New Hope training restaurant.
Sarah and Kim were happy to find out that the organisation is connected to the orphanage they went to last time they were in Cambodia.
After we explored there, we got a beautiful song from the children and joined into a class in the connected school. They were so good at English it was amazing!
Afterwards, we went to the night markets and got lots of cheap goodies!!
We then enjoyed a fish 'massage' if you can call it that, and a very entertaining lady boy show at the local stage at the night markets hahaha.
Got home nice and early to make sure we got enough sleep for the next day!
4th Dec
Woke up at 4:15am today YUCK!! We had to wake up that early so we could go to the famous Angkor Watt and set the beautiful sunrise and take the best photos!
Once the sun was up, we moved onto a different temple that has been over grown by trees! (Look at photos).
Then we went to a temple with many many faces and finally we went back to Angkor Watt to have a good look around when most of the tourists had left! (We have a smart tour guide!)
After 8 whole hours of exploring temples, we came back to the hotel to get ready to go out again!
This time we are off to a floating village!! Which should be awesome! I'm writing the blog now on the bus to the village, so will keep you updated :D
The village was super cool! I could not imagine living there though omg!
We got to watch sunset on the lake and had a great afternoon.
AND THEN...
We had our first pub crawl and had an absolute blast! The crew are so fun and the locals were pretty good party animals too!! Very fun night :):)
Will update you all as soon as we can!! Woooo go Asia!
Xoxo
