Raining again today. Caught subway to Xiantiandi which is a lovely old fashioned shopping area -old world from 20's to 30's - beautiful old houses and cobbled streets. Lots of restaurants and coffee shops.

Then wandered into a really big shopping complex - 5 floors and beautifully laid out. And again we commented on the lack of people shopping - how do all those stores exist?

Back to our area and had lunch in the same place as the first day - pick your own things.

We wandered around our area again in the aft - and had our daily Hargan Das!! Then back to the hotel to pack for our flight to Hong Kong.

Already too much shopping and both of us gave serious problems fitting everything in!! Tomorrow we are going to catch the Maglev train to the airport - a magnetic levitation train - state of the art- it does 420kpm and does 30 klms in 8 minutes. (I hope i got that right - will correct it tomorrow if not!)

Both is us have loved Shanghai and would return here. Lots to see and do, safe and easy to get around in. Nice feeling here too
