Back in Malaysia on a stop over before heading to HK for a night and then off to Taipei. Haven't had any internet access hence the lack in updates. KL is a nice city, more open space than HK but not as clean. There is really not much to see in the city's hub. The highlight is the Petronas Twin Towers. The towers are huge and when i look at it keep thinking of that movie with Sean Connery and Catherine Zeta Jones lol. The mall underneath the towers is pretty big and very western so it's like going to Yorkdale. Nothing special about it.
We stayed at the Traders hotel across from the towers. The hotel is really nice and they have this bar called Skybar on the 33rd floor which is a pool during the day but a bar at night. They have couches lining the outer glass wall that has a perfect view at the towers. On the other wall are just tables and stools that over look the pool. That's right, the pool is in the middle and does not get covered when the bar is opened. There is a walk way about 3 feet wide around the bar. Obviously people have fallen in. Not sure if it's a good idea to have such a small walking area for a bunch of drunks lol
We did a walk in another district where their Chinatown is. The markets are exactly like other markets around Asia and they sell pretty much the same thing however they are more expensive here and you can't really talk them down.
John and I did check out the Bird Park which was pretty cool. It's a pretty big park that in some sections have the brids just flying above you or walking around you. John even got pecked by one haha.
All in all KL is a nice place to visit. The 2 days we were here was more than enough. Would i come back, not anytime soon. There are a lot of other Asia destinations that would like to see before coming back here.
I'm having problems upload the photos and video so check back to view them.
