[WEDNESDAY] Woke up around 10am. A small note from Liz asking about my dirty clothes and 2 pills saying 'your drugs'. One thing Liz asked me for when I got here was "where are my drugs? You lost them at Customs??" She keeps having digs at me like that, but it's all good. Now with me taking all these tablets, she's like "well you shouldn't have lost those drugs that were in your bag, should you?!" God, she's a character. Its still a wet and miserable day. Fully overcast and I honestly don't think it's stopped raining since yesterday.I made myself some tea, before catching up on my blog. Around 12:30pm, I went for a shave and then had a long soak in the tub. Tell ya what, I didn't wanna get out. The temperature was just right.By the time I got out and got dressed, Gordon was home for lunch. He was at the table reading the paper. I made myself another cuppa, and we talked for the time he had left. He left around 1:50pm, so I went and got my jacket and shoes on. I grabbed my postcards and started walking up to the shops. The rain had settled, and was only drizzling. I made my way to the post office, dropped off the postcards and then made my way to the supermarket - New World. Liz was serving customers at the checkout so she didn't see me make my way in. I decided to use the chicken in their fridge for tea, so got some essentials. I went up and hit Liz up about the 2 minute noodles on the shelf. I got my answer and continued shopping. I then headed back to her checkout to pay for the items. While serving me, she asked how I was feeling and if I'd taken my 'drugs' that she left. I said no, as I'll take them before heading to bed tonight. I said bye, and I walked out. I headed across the road and got some hot chips from one of the shops. Only $1.40 for a good size bag. But she heavily salted them, but I ate them anyway. I walked home and off loaded the groceries, and made myself another cuppa.I updated some of my blog and watched some TV. While shopping I picked up a Pam's brand Pizza - hawaiian style. It was crap. I wasn't impressed with it, but at $4.99 - basically the same price I'd pay home, I ate it. Around 5pm, I started pulling their bbq chicken from the fridge apart, not long before Gordon came in the door from work. He offered me a beer, I said no, so he sat at the table having one and we talked about his day at work and what not, while I cooked tea. Around 6:15pm, Liz was home, and tea was ready. I'd made a chicken with red wine with 2 minute noodles. I'd never tried it, and I pullled it off. Was quite filling though. While the dishes were getting done, Gordon phoned Dean to see if he was home, as we were heading round for a visit. Liz had to stop around at her friend Royce's, so she took her car, and since Gordon had had a few beers, I was designated driver. Gordon's car is a Suzuki Vitara 4WD, quite a cruisy little car too. So we headed to Deans.Dean and Catherine were in the lounge, the two little ones were already in bed and Cheyenne was in the bedroom doing things. Gordon and Dean discussed their problems at work.Liz came over and gave Cheyenne some clothes to try on, so they disappeared for a while. When they came back out, Liz asked me if I had any photos of her granddaughter, I said 'not really'. I took my camera with me, so got a couple of shot, and worrying about who was gonna be in the front, who would hide who and who was taller. Anyway... I got a couple of pics of them, so it'll be a keepsake for both Liz and Cheyenne. On Thursday I hope to get a few family pics before heading out Friday.Catherine asked me to jump on her computer and have a look at a few things. While I was doing that, the final episode of 'Sea Patrol' was on, so there was a bit of 'Sea Patrol' / Conversation combo goin' on. I was close to 11pm before we decided tohead home. It was absolutely freezing when we walked out the door. As we walked in the door, it was14*C on the themometer, and that was inside the house!!!Gordon went straight to bed, and Liz and I had a cuppa, and some fruit loaf, while she did a load of washing. The TV guide was advertising an episode of 'Missing' on. So I sat and watched that, while Liz did her things. Just as that was finishing, Liz logged on the computer and previewed the photos we'd taken at the windfarm on Monday. She said the photos that she took came out really good, she might just quit work and start photography... typical Liz ! Liz stayed up and had a quick fag outside, and I took my 'drugs' as I said I would and we headed to bed.[END OF DAY 7]
