Still here in camel-free NC but not for long! I leave tomorrow for my first trip to the east coast, the longest flight of my life, and my very first trip to Australia! Needless to say I don't really know what to do with myself. I'm sad to leave my friends and family who I don't get to see nearly as much as I would like. I'm at least twice as sad to leave my puppies who will be off to new happy homes by the time I get back. And slowly but surely I'm getting more and more excited.

I have a place to live! This also means I have an address so you can send me mail if you would like. 509/49-53 Regent Street Chippendale NSW 2008. I don't know any of my other roommates as they are all from different schools and I don't really know anything about our housing aside from the fact that we'll be in apartments.

Still no word on the internship situation but Patrick, the man in charge our our placements, assured us that he has not failed to place a student in the past 8 years and that we will have an internship when we get to Australia.

I'm not sure when I'll have access to internet again so I don't know when I'll be able to update this but my grandma bought me this awesome little journal to write all of my thoughts and adventures in so you won't miss out on a thing. Also, next time there will actually be some pictures involved instead of these generic animal shots I've had up here so far.
