Hey everyone! In Liverpool right now. but let me tell you a little about our stay in London.
OK so, the day we got there, we went to Brick lane. It was a vintage market. There was so much cool stuff there! A huge variety of different food too, and for cheap!
Our first full day: We started off with the free walking tour. We saw Buckinham Palace (overated i must say), Trafalgar Square, Big Ben and the Westminster Palace and Abbey (where all the royal people are buried, and get married). That night we went to The Globe to see Shakespeare's Henry VIII. Its a theatre stage rebuilt exaclty like the old ones back in the day. So open air, and no fancy props guys... this play was all done the old fashion way.
The second day: We went on The Eye (the giant wheel that allows you to see all of London). That took long enough because its really famous. After that we went on a bus tour and river tour of London. That night, we went on a Grimm Reaper tour! It was so much fun! We got to see the places and hear the stories of murders and ghosts of London... and of course of old Jack!
The last day: We spent almost the whole day in Tower hill! Its the old royal palace built by William the Conquerer. Just beside the royal palace, there is the bloody tower. That's where they kept important prisoners. Many of you might know one of them: Ann Boleyn. She was Henry VIII's second wife. Since she couldnt make him a son, he accused her of cheating and got her executed right there in the court. She is buried in the Chapel within the walls of white tower. We also got to see all different types of armour, weapons and torture instruments. At the end, we got the see the ROYAL JEWELS! yes, we saw queen Elizabeth II's crown! crazy i know haha. After that, we headed to Hyde park for a walk. WE saw Lady Diana's memorial fountain and the statue of Peter (seen in HOOK). On our way home, we went to see the exact place they shot Harry Potter scene with platform 9 3/4 hahah! It is acctually there, between platform 9 and 10 and there is a cart halfway through the wall!!!!!!!!! bahaha
Now we in the home of The Beatles! OH YES!
