Hi guys! OK so... today, we madeour way back to parliament since we had to leave yesterday.. and this time around, we saw the changing of the guards. it was pretty interesting. haha they marched right up to the tomb of the unknown soldier (in front of parliament) and did their little moves and changed guards. after that, we checked out the national garden. it was SO beautiful! walking around in there was really relaxing and shady (thank god... the sun is killi...

Okay so we didn't acutally see the changing of the guards (which is what is happening in this photo) but we did see a heck of a lot of police officers in riot gere. As we got closer and closer to Omonia square they became more numerous. We wlanted to know what was up but thought it may not be the greatest of ideas to approach police in a country that we don't know if you are actually allowed to talk to them or not. Something Ariane forgot to mention about our day trip and the donkies: that morning, walking down the 600 stairs, there were also donkies going up and down those same narrow stairs. It was a difficult task to avoid being trampled and avoid stepping in s***...but we succeeded...just barely. At one point, I had to jump up on this little rail type fence wall thing to avoid them!
