so the exam went ok, very long with 9 short essay questions but you could choose to do 8 in the 2 hours we had. i'm sure i managed to pass as i only get a passfail grade anyway.
so said goodbyes that night, most of us went out to weisbaden to another strawberry festival.
on saturday the americans¸ sonia (aust.) and myself went to berlin via ICE. we got there from frankfurt in about 5 hours, scenery was nice to look at on the way there and it reach about 282kmh. don't know if i mentioned this before but amsterdam seemed very indie, prague seemed OOT indie and was awesome, berlin its normal it be outrageous and it seems like you could wear anything and nooone would notice. there we went on a walking tour, which was interesting but, but i had already known most of the info mainly just went to see the sites, we saw the berlin gate. the area where hilter killed himself, berlin dome and other city lamdmarks. the berlin dome was the standout closely followed by the berlin gate, it was funny how the buildings around the berlin gate had purposely been built architecturely boring in order for the gate to stand out, but inside they´re very different.
berlin was very cheap food and drink wise. we stayed in an apparentment in the city which was awesome. it had awesome views with a few cafes downstairs. we also come across an old building that was filled with graffetti inside an out. it seemed abandomed, but inside it actually was sort of an indie art gallery with some very alternative art.
we then left berlin on the monday and took a seven hour train ride down to munich where i am now. we so far have seen the olympic stadium which was anti-climatic, the roof was cool and it was interesting that it was designed so rain water would drain from the roof into olympic lake. we also went up to munich tower which was amazing as you could see all of munich and thankfully because of the clear weather the alps!
the americans have now left an iḿ at the wombat hostel. my irish mate is here with his family so i might stay a few days here an hang with him and decide where to go next, i might either head up to berlin again and get a proper look or budapest but so far everyone has been saying spain in the place to go, and it being running of the bulls atm its a tempting option.
