We arrived in Napa Valley on the 5th June 2012. that day we drove through San Francisco, over the Bay Bridge and we finally arrived at our hotel. We went to the concierge and they recommended we go on a safari. I was so excited to hear that. It was a long drive from our hotel up to Safari West. We saw a safari in the distance and we pulled up, parked and checked in. First we saw the birds. We saw a Indian grey crane, the worlds largest pigeon, some ducks and wild african chickens. Next we went to see the monkeys, I loved the monkeys. They were so cute because there was a mummy clinging on to a tiny baby. Next we saw a cheetah, her name was Sasha. After we saw some flamingos. We also went into a bird house and saw Exotic orange birds and the worlds tinest antalope! The last animal we saw was a Kookabura, their beaks we huge it is quite stange because scientists are still unclear of how their beaks are so big! Finally it was time to go on the Safari truck. All of my family sat on the top of the truck. First we drove of to see the Giraffes. They were my favourite animal out of the whole of the tour. There was one Giraffe that I loved the most he was the biggest most tallest Giraffe in the whole pen, his name was Mumba. Next we drove on to the Antelopes. I was amazed of just how many species there were. After that we moved on to see the Rhinos. There was a female one and a male one. They had just finished their daily mud bath. The two Rhinos were deciding on where to go. Next we saw the Zebras and Egyptian cows. Then that was the end of the tour I loved it so much.
