Day 3 in Marrakesh - having from mistake of not carrying a proper map, the first thing we did when we got up was purchase one, and although we still managed to get lost, it wasn't for hours this time.. We were able to spend our last day in Marrakesh actually sightseeing - visiting gardens (Jardin Majorelle - a garden owned by the late Yves Saint Laurent) and ruined palaces (Le Palais El Badii).

The highlight of the day though had to be taking a photo of a donkey, the owner came out of a shop demanding I pay him money for taking photos of his donkey... the man caused a bit of scene and a small crowd started to gather around us, after exchanging a few heated words with him (you know playing up to the crowd and all) we managed to slip out and run away - may I add with money very firmly in my pocket... note to self: don't take photos of donkeys when owners are within site!

With our time in Marrakesh already over I'm looking forward to chilling out in the beach side town of Essaouira. Though first we'll have to take our first bus trip in Morocco...
