Leaving october 8th for southeast asia! I will be working with elephants in Chiang Mai (northern thailand) for the next month and then will continue to travel until mid december. My tentative plans include visiting Laos, Cambodia, Singapore, Malaysia and Vietnam.

rebecca I loved talking to you this evening. I went to the website and read all about the 100 elephants and the monks that were bringing them to the community this weekend. I was sorry not to see any photos of you, however. Maybe the site will post photos from the event. We will wait with excited anticipation for your next phone call next week. Love, MOM p.s. Kat Nice updates bearson .. and I know what you mean about the sweatiness (especially on that spot between your eyes/on your forehead). Is it as bad as when we used to run in Lumphini Park? Rebecca I loved reading about your experiences, especially walking around in circles:) That bowl of hot soup in dripping hot weather must have been interesting...sometimes it is best not knowing what you are eating.
