Singapore! Wohoo! I've wanted to visit Singapore literally forever, so it feels really surreal actually being here! I'm staying with my friend Isabelle and her mum. Their flat is wicked, it's basically in the city centre and the view is amazing! The 6 nights I've been on my trip, one was spent on a place and three on a train so it's a very welcome change to stay in their home. Plus Isa's mum is really cool! (Isa is just being her weird self...) They're both very French - so I'm staying in Singapore with a French family which is very random but I'm not complaining! Next I'm gonna stay in Bangkok with a British family... The city is really cool, a lot more beautiful than I expected. Lots of skyscrapers, business people, stressed-looking students, shopping centres and cool coffee shops! And because littering is illegal, it's really clean everywhere. It's also illegal not to flush public toilets which would be a brilliant law pretty much everywhere! Oh, and the best thing...Singapore is cheap-quality-available-everywhere-and-all-the-time -sushi heaven! When I arrived, I was pretty knackered from my looooong journey here through Thailand and Malaysia, so we've pretty much just chilled so far, wandered around the city and enjoyed good food. It's been very hot the last couple of days, but literally everything (public trasport, shops, restaurants, taxis, cinemas) is air-conditioned so the time you actually have to spend in heat is not that long.
