Hey everyone!

Just a quick blog post to let you all know that I am safely in Lima, Peru! Arrived at my hotel on time in the early hours of this morning after a good flight and a safe taxi ride here with a ice drivier who spent the whole 45mins practising his english vocab on me bless him! Sending Annie a huge hug, I hope you are finally now safely on your way back to the UK after such a long delay.

First impressions of Peru are fantastic! And although I mised the welcome meeting for my GAP adventure group by turning up in the middle of the night, I have met a few of them at breakfast this morning and everyone seems lovely. My roomate for the three weeks, Becky, was very good natured about me arriving and disturbing her sleep last night, she seems lovely.

Tonight we are getting on a bus to Pisco, heading south along the coastline of Peru. It is about a 5 hour journey. Spending this morning investigating the city of Lima with Becky, and although I dont have long here it is ok as I am staying a couple of extra nights here once the trip ends here on the 14th June ish.

The time difference is a massive 6 hours so an hour longer than I expected, it is weird to think it is afternoon tea time with you all at home when my day is just beginning!

Anyway, must go explore, will blog again soon!
