Hey everyone,

Sorry (again!) for the long gap between blog posts - so much to update you on! Since the last blog I have flown safely to New York leaving South America behind me :-( However no time to feel blue about that here as SO MUCH to see!! Plus I have the company of my big sister to enjoy :-) The city is amazing, we still can't really believe we are here - everything really is just like the movies!

So far we have done downtown (Wall St, Stock exchange, ground zero etc), The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Statue of Liberty, and we have hit the shops (hard!) on 5th Avenue and been to Bloomingdales, Macy's etc. We've also been to the Rockafeller Centre, the Crysler Building, Madame Tuassauds & Hard Rock Cafe on Times Square, and spent a few hours sunning in Central Park! Phewww exhausting just typing it all!! We have of course also been to see the Sex & the City Movie, where else better to see it than in Times Square New York!!?

The weather has been GORGEOUS, if not a little hot and sticky at times. Broken occasionally by rain but not at all like british rain as it only lasts for 20 minutes max and then the sun reappears!!

Plans of what we still want to do include a Broadway show (or two...!), Empire State Building at dusk, Statten Island Ferry, a few more museaums/galleries and dare we say... more shopping!

I really can't believe just how quickly the time is going here in NYC, and that after this i'l be coming home!! Seems like a lifetime that I was there, so excited to see everyone (and to be reunited with my slippers!!) Until then, sending everyone loads of love and hugs from New York - hope you are all well and watch out UK, i'm coming home soon!!
